Welcome to the website of the Country Psychiatrists Association of New South Wales. The Association welcomes membership from psychiatrists who work either part or full-time in a rural area of NSW or have strong commitments to rural psychiatry in some way. Full, associate, and affiliate memberships are available.

Our objectives

The major objectives of the Association include the promotion of psychiatry, especially rural psychiatry, and to bring together psychiatrists for their common benefit and for scientific discussions and to disseminate knowledge of psychiatry by such means as may be thought fit. The major way we undertake these objectives is via the annual conference which offers a diverse and interesting academic program. A highlight of the annual conference is the family friendliness with many activities for spouses and children.
